how easy talking can feel
Stuttering is common, and it is no one’s fault. We help young children talk more easily, and help older kids and adults speak with less effort and more confidence, at their own pace.

Everyone repeats or pauses sometimes. These are the patterns that are worth a conversation when they happen often.
Repeating sounds or parts of words
b-b-ball
Repeating the first sound or syllable several times before the word comes out.
Stretching sounds
sssssun
Holding a sound for longer than usual at the start of a word.
Getting stuck
I want…
Moments where the word will not come out at all, sometimes with visible tension.
Avoiding words or situations
never mind
Swapping words, staying quiet, or not ordering for themselves to avoid stuttering.
When to reach out.
If stuttering has lasted several months, runs in your family, comes with tension or frustration, or is making someone avoid talking, a free call is a good next step.
Little ones
Ages 2 to 5
Parent-guided therapy you practice in short daily moments at home, so talking stays relaxed and fun.
School-age kids and teens
Ages 6 to 17
Techniques to talk more smoothly, plus tools for reading aloud, class presentations and handling teasing.
Adults
18 and up
Speaking strategies for work, phone calls and interviews, and support to talk freely whether you stutter or not.
What to expect
A relaxed evaluation of about 60 minutes. For children it is play-based and you stay in the room.
